Day One - Filming
Day One of filming has come to a close, great fun with an enthusiastic young cast. We started with a character building exercise, creating a story by each cast member providing one word and circling around to form a 'silly' story based on characters from TEN FOUR! We then moved onto talking about our characters, creating a back story and slogan for each. Some very creative decisions made and also very funny outcomes.
We then moved onto green screen, using hi-tech equipment to create montages for each character, taking promotional photos and filming some secret scenes from the movie. The day was broken up with good conversation and a Sausage Sizzle provided by the Director, Joe Russell.
Tomorrow, Day Two - we move onto our first on location shoot at Balaklava. Keep an eye out and come and say 'Hi'. (When we're not filming :-)

Day Two - Filming
Day Two of filming has finished. Today we spent 8 hours in Balaklava filming in some beautiful spots and some industrial ones as well. The locals were very accommodating and allowed us to film in their own backyard, bakery and outside council facilities. Great experience for our young cast. We did get some interesting looks as ten fictional Coppers walked the streets and on one occasion, even running through the streets for a foot chase!
Our cast were hot, sweaty and exhausted after a long day of filming, but the movie is looking fantastic. Our thanks to the Flower Pavilion in Balaklava for allowing us to use their venue as a base for the day!

Day Three - Filming
Day Three - Nigh Time Shoot! Filming at our new studio with amazing quality lighting. Creating some fantastic settings and scenes for yet another confusing part of the movie. Cast members filming inside and out with some action scenes thrown in for good fun. Our Audio Team Members, Connor Russell and Kane Mobbs had their work cut out for them whilst both our Make-Up Stylist, Kylie Mobbs went to town on some great effects. Maisy Jo, our Behind the Scenes Assistant created some good shots for a montage shared on our FB Page. Tomorrow, Lyndoch Institute!
Day Four - Filming
Day Four - Filming at the Lyndoch Institute tonight. Creating a community meeting for the Woop Woop Police to engage with the local public. A presentation provided to the local community explaining the new NBN service about to be installed and available for the neighbourhood. However, nothing is as it seems!
Day Five - Filming
Day Five - Filming at the Playford Uniting Church in Munno Para West this evening. A much smaller scene to film with a select few cast members. more secrets filmed and great plot twists. Fantastic venue to use and a favourite for Now Productions!
Day Six - Filming
Day Six - Filming at the Now Arts Centre. This was a last minute change as a venue of ours pulled out last minute. With a quick 're-arrange' the cast and crew pulled out an amazing three hours of filming to create two fantastic scenes. With some awesome lighting, good fun and dusk setting - we are really proud of our outcome!
Day Seven - Filming
Day Seven - Filming at two separate locations today. First up at the Tanunda Show Hall with their new commercial giant kitchen to give of Bec's Restaurant with Karrie and Rebecca. Then, onto the Tanunda Newsagency where old man Timmy gets up to some dodgy dealings! Great fun and finished with some time left over. Always helps when people know their lines!
Day Eight - Filming
Day Eight - Two on location shots today, Willaston Oval on the side of the road for a routine traffic stop and then followed up with the Enfield Hotel for our Woop Woop local pub scene. Great fun and amazing acting by outstanding cast members.
Day Nine - Filming
Day Nine - Filming today was again separated into two sections. A daytime film and an evening shoot. First of all we began in Pioneer Park at Gawler with a fight against the busy, everyday noise of a busy town and breeze. Then after a short break, we moved back to the Now Arts Centre for an outside film, some cool lighting and great green screen driving scenes!
Day Ten - Filming
Day Ten - Filming in Tanunda today. Beautiful location, but the majority of our on-location shots were indoors at the Woop Woop Police Station aka Workspace Barossa. The cast and crew thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were loving the amazing facilities. Take a look through our photos and see our Police Station come to life as we close our time filming TEN FOUR!
That's a Wrap Party
This evening our Director treated the cast to a 'It's a Wrap Party' at the Now Arts Centre. The cast found themselves set different challenges all connected to the franchise of Agent Percash and links to TEN FOUR! These included a scrambled message to decode, the Woop Woop Herald article hidden message, project crossword, a roll of the dice and fingerprints. What more could they ask for? Pizza and hot chips! Yep, they got that as well! The evening finished off sitting around in a circle, discussing conspiracy theories and reminiscing over favourite characters, fun times and the mysterious storyline. Now the cast have to wait until November 14th to see this adventure come to life on the big screen!
