Mary Poppins - Performer Information
Please read below for important information about our upcoming production.
Mary Poppins
Auditions
Auditions will be held on 21st June at Riverbanks College in Angle Vale. Call backs will be held on 22nd June at the same venue. There is an Audition Fee of $10 per person which will be held as a deposit. If we are unable to offer you a role, you will receive a refund of the fee. If you are offered a role, the fee will be credited to your Production Fee. There is no refund if you choose to withdraw from the auditions, and there is no refund if we offer you a role and you turn it down.
Rehearsals
All auditionees must be available for all rehearsals:
Saturdays and Sundays from 26th July to 28th September - rehearsals - Riverbanks College in Angle Vale
Monday 29th September to Friday 3rd October - intensive week - Riverbanks College in Angle Vale
Times for the above rehearsals: after 9am on Saturdays and 1pm Sundays - between 4pm-9pm on Monday 29th Sep to Friday 3rd Oct (school holidays)
Sunday 12th, Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th October - compulsory final rehearsals - times to be confirmed - Riverbanks College, Angle Vale
Tuesday 21st to Saturday 25th October - compulsory dress rehearsals & performances - times to be confirmed - some may be during business/school hours - Shedley Theatre in Elizabeth.
Absences will only be approved if listed on your audition application (and approval is not guaranteed). Any absences sent in after roles are offered will not be considered approved. If a cast member misses more than 5% of rehearsals unapproved, they will be asked to leave the cast (without refund).
DANCERS - all choreography rehearsals will be held on Sundays and during the school holiday rehearsals. However, it is very important that you list your Saturday dance commitments on your audition application so we can work around them. You may be required to miss dance classes on Saturday 18th October to attend compulsory final rehearsals, but we will try to schedule times to suit the majority.
Production Fee
All performers will be required to pay a production fee of $495. This is due on acceptance of your place in the cast. It can also be paid in three instalments:
$195 on on acceptance of your place in the cast
$150 by 31st August
$150 by 30th September
Families will receive a $50 reduction on each of their Productions Fees (only applies to family members living at the same address).
This production fee includes:
Performers will need to provide their own suitable footwear, underwear and some basic costume items. Exact requirements will be given to cast members during the rehearsals.
The Show
This will be a full-scale production for performers aged 8+ (including adults). We will be performing at the Shedley Theatre in Elizabeth and there will be a minimum of 3 performances between 23rd and 25th October 2025.

- A souvenir t-shirt
- Script hire
- Costume hire
- 10% discount on tickets
